A cool looking badge on somebody’s profile does not make them credible. Just because someone has a funny looking badge saying they’re a developer, does not mean they actually are. Just today, Discord has implemented a system in which developers can get a free badge on their profile by simply having any bot with slash commands used in the past 30 days. (even if the bot is owned by a team they do not personally own) (edited) Anybody can get this badge by just making an application, creating a slash command on it, and having an alt or a friend use the said slash command, and then going to https://discord.com/developers/active-developer allows them to obtain the badge without ANY verification. And yes, I did just tell you how to get this new “very cool badge” in a couple simple steps. I do not care, Discord should never have made this change
FYI: You have to reload your client, and likely wait a couple minutes for it to show.
